Capital gains tax is now a daily conversation topic that comes up among my clients who are selling property in this historically high value market. The prices in our local area have gotten so strong that tax implications are hard to avoid.
Therefore, it is more critical than ever to know more about how capital gains taxes are calculated on property you sell or plan to sell, whether you are selling your primary residence to make that all important move, or if you are selling a rental property you own that used to be your primary residence, or if you are selling a rental that has always been a rental, or a property you inherited from family.
This weekend, Tax Attorney Johan Deprez will be addressing these topics on a Zoom seminar from 10 am to 11 am Saturday March 5.
